ICaN
NURSERY
EMPOWERING
& SHOWCASING ABORIGINAL PEOPLE & CULTURE
At ICaN Nursery, we are committed to empowering and showcasing Aboriginal people and businesses. We have been operating since 2012, and in that time have successfully provided employment opportunities to hundreds of Indigenous Australians. We have also been able to showcase Indigenous businesses and demonstrate their success.
The ICaN Nursery has been operating since 2012, self-funded and without reliance on any Government funds. Since then, we have been able to employ over 100 Aboriginal people in all different sectors, such as disability, health, education and employment. We have also been successful in establishing and running businesses to showcase Aboriginal people’s abilities.
A PLACE TO
LEARN & GROW
Our nursery operates six days a week to the general public, providing an opportunity to learn and grow with our knowledgeable team.
We specialize in landscaping, bush tucker, and cultural gardens that showcase and promote the significance of Aboriginal culture. We hope that our nursery serves as a place for education and growth for those who visit.
ICaN Nursery is self-funded and has no reliance on government funds, meaning we can continue to provide employment opportunities to Aboriginal people and showcase their successes. We are committed to promoting cultural awareness and education, and invite you to come and experience the ICaN Nursery for yourself.
NATIVE
PLANT STOCK
We specialize in native plants, bush tucker, and cultural gardens. By opening our nursery to the public, we can share information about native plants and their traditional uses, helping to promote their significance to Aboriginal culture.
We also have an extensive range of native plants for sale, with all the information and advice you need to make sure you are successful in keeping them healthy and happy. Our team is available to answer any questions you may have and talk about the traditional uses of these plants.
