ICaN Nursery Now Open at New Location

Have you heard the exciting news? Pathways Together’s ICaN Nursery in Dubbo is now open for business at our new premises! After months of hard work and preparation, the nursery has relocated to its new home at 8L Newell Highway Old Ganarrin Nursery. We’re proud to say that our team has worked tirelessly to ensure that the nursery is COVID-safe and ready to serve our customers with limited staff.

The ICaN Nursery has been a big part of Pathways Together’s mission since its establishment in 2012. As a self-funded organisation, we take pride in providing opportunities for Aboriginal people to thrive in various sectors, including employment, health, education, and even business ownership. Since our inception, we’ve employed hundreds of Aboriginal people who have contributed to making our organization what it is today.

The nursery’s operating hours are six days a week, and the public is welcome to visit and peruse their diverse range of native plants stock. You’re sure to find something that will take your fancy, whether you’re a seasoned gardener or just starting.

Our team specializes in landscaping, bush tucker, and cultural gardens, and we’re happy to share information about plants and their traditional uses with our customers. Our goal is to promote the significance of our culture and educate those who visit us about the beauty and importance of our native plants.

Even more impressively, the nursery has expertly crafted cultural and bush tucker gardens, showcasing the rich history of Aboriginal plant use. The staff members at ICaN Nursery are knowledgeable about traditional plant use and educate their visitors about each plant’s significance.

Another unique aspect of the ICaN Nursery is our expert landscaping team, who offer their services to members of the public. Our team is experienced in creating tailored landscape designs that take into account every detail, from soil type to climate to local plant and wildlife diversity. They draw on a wealth of expertise, ensuring that your new garden or outdoor space looks spectacular.

At the ICaN Nursery, we’re passionate about promoting sustainability and native plant species, which is why we’re committed to sourcing our plants from ethical and environmentally-friendly suppliers. In addition, we work closely with local organizations and businesses to support our community and promote sustainable practices.

As a team, we’re thrilled to have finally opened our new location, and we’re excited to continue serving our community with a wider range of native plants and products. We encourage anyone in the area to come and visit us at the nursery for a chat or to admire our native plant stock. Our friendly and professional team is always happy to help you with any questions you may have!
